Luxury modular house in Maresme

A prefabricated house with cantilevered roofs that overcome the slope of the plot

Ein Fertighaus mit auskragenden Dächern, die die Neigung des Grundstücks überwinden.
Customised luxury modular house in Maresme, characterised by its structure with overhangs, the play of volumetry and the porches created.

A two-storey L-shaped modular house customised in Mediterranean style. A prefabricated house that adapts to the unevenness of the terrain by connecting two independent spaces that are visually linked by a cantilever.

This cantilever is located in what appears to be a garage, but is in fact a study, and connects it to the rest of the house.

The path from the entrance to the house leads gradually upwards. Access is from a lower level and gradually rises as you enter the house. The steep slope of the terrain was easily overcome thanks to inHAUS’ experience with steep slopes, utilising the verticality and adapting to the sloping nature of the surroundings.

Luxury modular house in Maresme, design and elegance

On the lower floor of the building there is a fully equipped workspace that also serves as a studio. This space presents itself as an independent volume that is visually separated from the main structure of the building. It is an extension to the main block that forms the prefabricated house, but visually belongs together.

However, its design blends harmoniously with the imposing eaves of the house, creating the impression of a fusion of both elements.

In addition, we can emphasise the presence of overhangs in the overall architectural design of the house, which make it possible to create several verandas to take advantage of the open space on the plot.

These overhangs together with the use of lateral volumetry, forming a successive “L” on the façade, make it a house with more dynamism, while at the same time redirecting natural light and integrating it into the landscape. One of our clients’ main requests was for the house to have a fluid connection between the interior and exterior, which is why we have worked extensively on the play of light and the large orientated windows.

A sophisticated interior design for a self-supporting modular house

This top-of-the-range modular home has details in several corners that give it a special touch. One of these is a double-sided fireplace in the living room, which opens onto the kitchen.

From the kitchen, you have a wide view of the outside thanks to a large panoramic window. This element not only fills this important space with natural light, but also gives it a prominent meaning.

Modular home meets the contemporary needs of modern life. The growing demand for work areas in the home that are integrated into the main areas or housed in separate structures.

Inside, design elements such as coffered ceilings and floor-to-ceiling doors catch the eye. The clients of this industrialised house wanted to pay attention to every little detail when designing their home, and we at inHAUS went to extremes to ensure that the design met the requirements.

On-site assembly
The modules for this high-quality prefabricated house were transported by lorry to Barcelona, Spain.

This customised house designed by inHAUS was originally based on the Punta Umbría model, but was modified in several ways. The installation of the five modules and the canopy of this house was completed in just half a day. The slope of the terrain was overcome without difficulty thanks to the experience of the inHAUS installation team.

The design of this prefabricated house in Barcelona reflects the client’s desire for customisation. The layout of this detached home is distinctly L-shaped, one of the favoured options for the most discerning clients in terms of design. It offers expansive views in the best directions while providing optimal coverage and privacy.

The variety of materials used for the façades has been harmoniously combined. The ceramic claddings and the single-layer mortar claddings stand out, coexisting in perfect harmony with the technical woods without diminishing the importance of the other elements of the structure.

Plan and layout

Comfort at two levels

The realisation of this project went through various phases. Firstly, a house was designed and planned for a specific plot of land, which was not the final destination of the house. For this reason, the project had to be adapted to the new plot on which it was to be built. Finally, we decided to design this modular house on two floors with two divided areas that are visually connected by cantilevers.
