A summer residence in Spain for family gatherings

This summer residence in Javea is tailor-made and designed for family gatherings in summer. This 572 m² villa with a Mediterranean façade and summery style has 6 bedrooms and large, open-plan spaces for family gatherings.

The entire design of the house is based on a special and peculiar story. The owners, a Slovakian entrepreneurial family with four children, wanted to build a house that would serve as a meeting place for their children, who live with their respective families in different parts of the world. Both the exterior and interior spaces reflect the personality of this family. This prefabricated house adapts to the unevenness of the terrain thanks to the development of the outdoor area and the three heights that divide the interior spaces.

The outdoor areas are the most important part of the project, as they will be the most inhabited in a modular house designed for summer. An infinity pool was created to further emphasise the incredible landscape from the cliff on which the house is located. The view from the pool merges into a glass fence through which you can see the sea and the most beautiful coves of Jávea.

In addition, the outdoor areas range from a chill-out area, a golf course, a pickleball court and a greenhouse with 56 different tropical species. Undoubtedly an exclusive design home with luxury in every corner.

An interior design with a central element: the piano

One of the daughters of the family is a pianist, so the piano is a central and important element of the union for her. It was clear to us that it should play an important role in the design of the villa, which is why it was strategically placed between the living room and the kitchen. This creates a central place where the family can come together to listen to music and socialise.

In addition, the piano is connected to external speakers that allow its sound to be heard from all outdoor areas of the house, so that the family can listen to their sister play the piano while they are in the swimming pool.

The entrance hallway leading to the lift and staircase was designed to integrate with the living room. We removed walls and added a bookshelf and a vanity unit to maintain the feeling of a hallway, but with an opening to the living room. In this way, the open-plan areas are enhanced, creating a greater sense of spaciousness and connection between the rooms.

The imposing, three-storey staircase is a key element of the interior design and connects the ground floor, first floor and basement. A generous recess in the centre frames the elegant lighting fixtures suspended from the ceiling. The stone and lacquered metal staircase makes this element the visual centrepiece of the house.

This villa in Alicante has three floors, which are connected by a stone staircase and a lift. Inside there is a gym, a games room, a piano and six complete and independent bedrooms for each child and their family.

The kitchen is also an important space for the family. In addition to a wine cellar and all the necessary accessories to cook comfortably, it has a large table with 12 seats around which to gather and have a relaxed time during mealtimes. An open space towards the living room and the central element: the piano.

In addition, there is a hidden side room with sliding doors for special rooms such as the laundry room and pantry.

The design of this luxury home in Javea reflects the wishes and personality of the owner and his family. The floor plan of this summer house is O-shaped and places the piano area with its acoustics at the centre of the house, a preferred choice for the most demanding clients in terms of design. The development and design of the outdoor area includes more than 56 different tropical species, golf and pickleball courts, an infinity pool overlooking the sea and the best coves of Jávea.

The variety of materials used for the façade has been harmoniously combined. The white monolayer and the natural stone are the highlights and give the house a Mediterranean aesthetic.

Tailor-made design

This project was designed to measure, inspired by various models from our catalogue of 111 modular houses. The outdoor areas play an important role and are connected to each interior element. An O-shaped floor plan in which the piano and the three-storey staircase take centre stage. The house has three floors (including the basement) where there are gyms, hidden areas, a playroom, a living room and six complete and individual bedrooms so that each child can enjoy the summer with their family.
