Luxurious home in Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona, designed entirely for our clients. A modular house with a total area of 283 m² on two floors.

An L-shaped floor plan and a classic Mediterranean style with technological wood and white single-layer cladding on the façade. A house with a compact aesthetic that reflects an incredible spaciousness thanks to the large windows that define its structure and the three metre free height of the ground floor.

To give the house dynamism and take advantage of the large unevenness of the plot, a lateral overhang was created that provides momentum and breaks up the originally sober and compact structure of the house.

The main objective of the design was to create a fluid connection between the interior and exterior, taking into account the details of the interior design project and the urbanisation with a spectacular corner infinity pool and a fireplace area.

Incredible outdoor area with infinity pool and fireplace area

The exterior of this modular home is characterised by the presence of a corner infinity pool that is visible from all angles of the house. This is possible thanks to the large windows that converge in the day area. In addition, there is a chill-out area that connects the kitchen and living room with the outdoor area and ends at the swimming pool.

Another key element in the design of this luxury home is the relaxation area, which enhances the outdoor space with detail and luxury. At the same time, this chill-out area fulfils a clear function: it is the clients’ favourite place for meetings without having to gather indoors.

The plot of this project has greatly influenced the architectural design, adapting to the great unevenness of the terrain, which has been levelled out by numerous elements.

Interior design and details in this luxury residence

When we enter the house, on the ground floor we find the master suite with dressing room and bathroom, with special views of the property and the garden. In the other wing there is an open-plan living and kitchen area, where the real protagonist is the space dedicated to the kitchen. For the owners of this house, it was important to have a large space in the kitchen with a large island.

To make the interior of the house more spacious, the ceilings are three metres high and the doors are floor-to-ceiling. In addition, the large windows bring a lot of light into the interior of the house and allow a view to the north of the forest and greater efficiency in the house.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, including a guest room.

The modules for this high-quality prefabricated house were transported by lorry to Barcelona, Spain.

We interviewed Claudia de Sousa, interior designer with whom we collaborated on this project, during its realisation in Sant Pere de Ribes. Claudia came to us with this project and tells us why she chose inHAUS, emphasising our designs and the values of our homes. She also talks about the client’s needs, which she had to plan and fulfil together with us. Three-metre clear heights, large windows to connect with the surroundings and other details that characterise the project. Working together with Claudia as interior designer was the key to taking into account all the needs and tastes of our clients. In the end, we achieved a result that is, in Claudia’s words, ‘a spectacular house, surpassing the designs and renderings of the project’.

This house, which has been customised according to the needs of our clients, is characterised by its functional and efficient layout, thanks to the large windows that bring natural light into the house. The outdoor area is characterised by two key elements: the fireplace area and the infinity pool. Modular house has a clear L-shaped floor plan with a small wing reserved for the owners’ master suite. The construction of this prefabricated house has an urbanisation and interior design project, so the design and the connection between interior and exterior are well thought out from the first moment. Inside there are four bedrooms, three of which are on the first floor, each with its own bathroom.
